Adding Record Information

You can add key data to your Plate Search records by following the steps below.

Addresses

The Addresses tab on a vehicle’s record page displays all addresses loaded for an account. Addresses are populated from public record data, license plate scans, or manually adding via the Add Address button.



Each address record displays metrics on license plate scans, scores, and other key information. Clicking the address itself will focus the map view on that specific location. If the Skip Trace product is utilized for a record, you can click the address box and public record data will be displayed if available.     

People

The People tab utilizes the same data set as the Addresses tab, only with a focus on the people associated with the vehicle record. Clicking into an individual’s box will display contact information and addresses associated with that person. Selecting a phone number lets you add notes and details for call attempts. Selecting Set Primary will set a specific phone number as the primary phone for that person. Additionally, you can select Add Person to add more people to a vehicle record. 



Vehicles

The Vehicles tab houses vehicles either added manually or from Skip Trace and License Plate Recognition (LPR) data. You can set status and modify subscriptions on this tab.  


Select Add Vehicle to add a vehicle to the record, and enter information for VIN, plate/state, year, make and model. Click Save when finished.
